Product Description
ZyXEL ES-3124 offers comprehensive Access Control List (ACL) for enforcing security to the edge. Its protection mechanisms comprised of per-port MAC filtering, limited per-port MAC number, port-based 802.1x user and device authentication, as well as TCP/UDP Socket filtering to control the network services accessible to employees. Thanks to these solid mechanisms, the administrators can now construct highly secured corporate networks with time and effort considerably less then before. Users may stack works by assigning two VLAN IDs to each frame header. One is a backbone VLAN ID used by the service provider, and the other provides up to 4,096 unique 802.1Q VLAN tags. The ES-3124 support VLAN Stacking, namely Q in Q or Tag in Tag that help Telcos or Carriers to easily establish IP VPN networking architectures With supports to advanced features like iStacking SNMP, Web, telnet, RS-232 and RJ-45 MGMT ports, the ES-3124 is very easy to deploy and manage. Better yet, its underlying ZyXEL iStacking technology allows up to 24 clustered switches to be managed by just one IP management, enabling users to benefit from significantly reduced operation and maintenance cost.
