Nintendos latest console includes all the existing features of the
Nintendo DS, yet includes a variety of distinctive changes which truly
sets it apart from other handheld consoles. Nintendo DS Lite retains
the advanced touch screen technology, allowing players to control the
software with a stylus or even their finger, as well as dual screens,
voice recognition and Wi-Fi capabilities of the Nintendo DS but is now
both smaller and lighter.
Weighing nearly 60g less than the original,
it is just two thirds of the original size. The redesign isnt only
cosmetic though, the Nintendo DS Lite features adjustable screen
brightness with four settings, a repositioned microphone for ease of
use and a larger and more comfortable stylus. With its new design and
unique features, this console is perfect for everyone regardless of
age, gender and gaming skills.
Nintendogs lets you take care of virtual pets (dogs, obviously) on your
Nintendo DS. You can train your puppies by speaking commands into the
microphone, pat the pooch with the stylus, play games like as "fetch"
with a Frisbee, buy toys, food, and accessories, and take part in
competitions to win trophies.
If there are other Nintendo DS
users with Nintendogs nearby with both of you in "Bark Mode", you can
link the games wirelessly and see both dogs on the same screen.
You
initially only have 6 of the 18 breeds
available when you start playing the game, but as you progress,
you unlock more breeds and items to buy. If you connect with another
user that has another breed of dog not available to you then their
dog's breed will be unlocked for you.
