Using the Intel P45 chipset, this motherboard supports the latest Intel Core2 Quad, Core2 Extreme, and Core2 Duo processors up to FSB 1600(oc)MHz, and includes performance-enhancing features like 100% SOLID Capacitor design, which is endurable to operation under higher frequency and temperature. 2* PCIe x16 Gen2.0 slots allow the installation of 2 graphics cards in CrossFireX mode, whilst a whole range of onboard connectivity options ensure that the P45A-S is highly adaptable for mainstream and performance computing - eSATA, SATAII with RAID, FireWire and USB2.0.
