This HDMI extender will allow you to extend your HDMI connection using CAT 5e/CAT 6 cable as a transmission medium. The advantages of using this type of cable rather than HDMI are that you can alter the length of your cable and it is very cheap in comparision wih full HDMI cabling, CAT 5e cable is easy to hide in a house, behind walls etc. With this device you can extend the signal by up to 40 metres (30m via CAT 5e, 40m via CAT 6).
